Home remedies for body odor include glycerine, radish, alcohol, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, potato, tea tree oil, rosemary oil, turnip, wheatgrass, neem leaf extract, sage tea, tomato juice, baking powder, lemon juice, antibacterial soaps and antiperspirant deodorants, plenty of water, proper hygiene, clean clothes, and staying dry.
Body odor refers to the smell that is emitted from a person’s body, which becomes noticeable and conspicuous if it turns foul, often making the person nervous and conscious of their smell, which results in more sweating and a worsening of the smell. This smell may be coming from the skin, the mouth, genitals, armpits, or other specific body parts. Factually, the body has no smell of its own, because the sweat that is produced is simply composed of salts and water. 2. Mix 1 teaspoon of white vinegar in 1 teaspoon of water and apply to your armpit while bathing.
Sour Curd or Yoghurt :-
Sour Curd &yoghurt contains good bacteria which helps kill the bad bacteria that caused body odor & other skin problems. Mix 2-3 tablespoon sour curd or yoghurt, rub it over armpits, groin area, feet, under breasts, neck etc for 30 minutes. Rinse it off with water.
Baking Soda :-
Just as baking soda can absorb unpleasant smells in the kitchen, it can have the same effect when applied to body odor. This all-purpose household cleaner works by attracting moisture as well as killing bacteria, providing you with an economical and convenient solution. Cornstarch can function in a similar way.
Lemon :-
Lemon contains vitamin C and citric acid. Citric acid kills underarm bacteria and prevents body odor, vitamin C keeps your skin nourished. Lemon is the perfect and effective natural deo to get rid of body odor. Bacteria on underarms cannot survive in acidic environment which application of lemon juice creates.
1. Mix 1 tablespoon rose water with 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice, apply this on your underarms before going to bed, leave it overnight. Rinse it off in the morning.
2. Take 2 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and apply it on your underarms immediately after bath and pat dry, it prevents body odor.
3. Add less than ½ cup of lemon juice in your regular bath water.
Neem Leaf Extract :-
Neem leaves should be boiled in water and the drained extract can be collected. This is then added to a bucket of water, which should be used to take a bath. This is a wonderful antimicrobial activity that can prevent not only foul odor, but will also protect your skin against various fungal infections.
Wheatgrass :-
Originally used by hunters to mask their scent from game, wheatgrass has a proven history of neutralizing body odor. Its high chlorophyll content makes the substance a natural deodorant, and its common commercial use makes it widely available and easy to buy in both tablet and liquid forms.

Regular bathing removes dead skin and microbes from us, thus one should make sure that the daily routine is strictly followed, especially those people who have complaints of body odor.
