Best home remedy for Weakness, Anemia AND Weight Gain

Anemia is not a disease, it’s a good news. However, anemia can be an indication of some serious illnesses and that’s a very bad news. So, you need to check first with your doctor and ensure that you don’t have hemolytic anemia, sickle cell anemia or sideroblastic anemia. These types of anemia occur due to malfunctioning of your body which can be treated through proper medical intervention only. If everything is all right but you are still diagnosed with anemia, it is due to nutritional deficiency. You suffer from deficiency of iron, vitamin B 12 or folic acid. You should understand that your red blood cells count has gone really low and they can’t now carry enough oxygen to your body parts. Your hemoglobin, which carries oxygen to your various body parts, may also have reduced to such levels that may pose risk to your health. Therefore, you need to supply essential nutrients to your body so as to treat this nutritional deficiency anemia. Here are some home remedies for anemia of such type.

Beetroot-Apple Juice for Anemia :-

Apple is rich in iron along with many other health friendly components. On the other hand, beet is high on folic acid as well as fiber and potassium. Its most nutrient rich part is just under its peel. So, if you plan to have beets, you may cook it in a microwave oven or just roast it on gas stove with its peel still on it. After it gets cooked, peel the beet and have it. While you can always have an apple or two in a day, when you mix with beet with apple, your chances of fighting off anemia doubles up.

Get this:

  • Apple juice- 1 cup
  • Beetroot juice- 1 cup
  • Honey- 1-2 tsp

Do this:

  • Mix apple juice with beetroot juice.
  • Add honey to this and stir well to mix it in the juice.
  • Have this juice twice a day.

Sesame Seeds for Anemia :-

Sesame seeds are yet another ingredient that may excellently work to treat anemia. Especially the black sesame seeds are a rich source of iron. There are more than one way to have sesame seeds for anemia.

 

1st way to have sesame seeds for anemia

Get this:
• Sesame seeds- 1 tsp
• Honey- 1 tbsp
• Water- to soak sesame seeds

Do this:

  • Soak sesame seeds in water for two hours
  • Then strain and crush the seeds to get a paste.
  • Add honey to this sesame seeds paste and mix well.
  • Have this honey-sesame paste twice a day.

2nd way to have sesame seeds for anemia

Get this:

  • Black sesame seeds- 1 tsp
  • Milk- 1 cup
  • Honey- 1-2 tsp (or jaggery)
  • Warm water- to soak sesame seeds

Do this:

  • Soak sesame seeds in warm water for 2 hours.
  • Grind it to get paste.
  • Strain to get its emulsion.
  • Mix it with a cup of milk.
  • Add honey or jaggery and mix well.
  • Have this sesame flavored milk daily.

Blackstrap Molasses for Anemia :-

This is the folk remedy to fight with anemia. Blackstrap molasses not only contain high levels of iron but also folate which is a natural source of folic acid. There are many B vitamins too in molasses. With all these components, molasses can increase red blood cell production efficiently. What is important is that even people suffering from diabetes can have this due to its low glycemic index. While you can always cover your waffles, pancakes or any other food with molasses, here is a fine home remedy to follow everyday.

Get this:

  • Blackstrap molasses- 2 tsp
  • Apple cider vinegar- 2 tsp
  • Water- 1 cup

Do this:

  • Mix molasses with apple cider vinegar.
  • Add water to this and mix well.
  • Have this once daily.

Almonds :-

Almonds have long been admired as the essence of fitness, wellness and health. It is an excellent source of vitamin E, vitamin B-6, carbohydrates, manganese, potassium, iron, zinc, folatescalcium, magnesium, pantothenic acid, niacin, thiamin, riboflavin and selenium. 

Vitamin E is a great lipid soluble antioxidant, which gives you energy and fight against the weakness, it also protect us from harmful oxygen-free radicals. Lack of magnesium may be the cause of weakness in some cases. 

Almonds are rich sources of vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber, and loaded with lots of health promoting phyto-chemicals; it gives protection against diseases and cancers.

  • Soak 2-3 almonds. One fried fig and 5-6 raisins in glass of water overnight. Next morning eat the almonds (peel the almonds), raisins, figs and drink the water. You can consume this on an empty stomach or do this in the breakfast.
  • Always carry some roasted almonds with you. Whenever you feel weakness or exhausted, eat 3-4 almonds to get instant energy.
  • Soak 3-4 almonds in glass of milk overnight and in the morning eat the almonds and drink the milk. Do this every day. You can see the result within 15-20 days. 

Bananas :-

Banana is fat, cholesterol and sodium free fruit. Bananas are rich source of vitamin C, vitamin B6, dietary fiber, potassium and manganese, sucrose, fructose, glucose, copper and calcium, which gives you fast and huge energy. It contains potassium, which converts sugar into energy and fiber maintains the glucose level in our blood.

  • Cut 2-3 ripe bananas in bowl and spread 1-2 tablespoon of honey and half teaspoon powder of cumin seeds on it. Consume it daily in the breakfast and in evening.
  • Whenever you feel weak and exhausted, eat one or two ripe bananas or drink banana shake and smoothie.
  • Eat 1-2 ripe bananas daily after each and every heavy meal for fast and easy digestion of food. This will prevent acidity, constipation and indigestion, which is one of the reasons of weakness.

 

Pomegranate :-

Pomegranate is known as super fruit, as it has lots of nutritional value. It is loaded with proteins, carbohydrate, fiber, fat and balance amount of sugar (glucose). And more significantly, it has high amount of iron and calcium. Pomegranate also includes minerals such as potassium and copper.
Consumption of Pomegranate increases hemoglobin naturally in our blood and increases healthy blood flow. You should try Pomegranate to get rid of typical symptoms of anemia like weakness, tiredness, faintness and fatigue.
 

1. Prepare juice from 1 medium size Pomegranate and drink it in the morning on n empty stomach. Do this for 2-3 weeks for best result or you can drink it once or twice a day.

2. Eat Pomegranate fruit daily to overcome anemia.

 

Tomatoes :-

Consumption of food containing lots of iron is not enough; your body should be capable to absorb that iron too and to absorb iron in the body vitamin C plays very important role. Vitamin C absorbs the iron from the food; tomatoes are very rich sources of lycopene and Vitamin C.
 
1.    Cut two medium size tomatoes & one cucumber (make small pieces) and add them in bowl of curd. Also add 1 teaspoon of sugar in it. Mix it well and consume it with regular food. Do this in lunch and dinner. Cucumber and curd also contains lots of vitamin C.
 
2.    Drink glass of fresh tomatoes juice, add pinch of salt and black pepper to improve the taste. You can add tomatoes to your salad, sandwiches. Use tomatoes in your regular food.

Black pepper :-

Take 6-7 black pepper balls, crush them and add it to glass of milk. Boil this milk in an iron vessel for 7-8 minutes and drink it. Repeat this once or twice a day for 2-3 weeks to overcome iron and hemoglobin deficiencies.

Currants :-

Take 8-10 currants and soak overnight them in the water. Next morning, remove the seeds from the currants and consume them on n empty stomach. Follow this every day to get rid of anemia and to increase the hemoglobin level in the blood.
