How to get a glowing skin? How to have flawless skin? These are the questions that most of us ask the skin specialists and dermatologist and which need a satisfying answer. Clear glowing skin is a dream for every person. No one likes pimples, zits, dark spots, baggy eyes or dark circles. There are different skin types and different problems associated with them. Dry skin can get itchy sometimes and needs to be hydrated often to keep it glowing. Oily skin is prone to pimples and has a greasy texture. Some people have normal skin, which is God’s gift, and then there are people with combination skin who have to face the problems of both dry skin and oily skin.

Pimple Care :-

  • It is very tempting to pop pimples if you pop the zits it will only result in scars, redness and inflammation.
  • The infected material will be pushed further into the skin, causing more pimples!
  • The inflammations in the dermis (inner layer of the skin) and epidermis (outer layer of the skin) are called blemishes.

So, blemishes caused by popping the pimples take longer to heal than the pimple itself. The pimples stay for three or four days, but the scars caused by fingering them stay for a lifetime. Choose which one you’d like to live with. Opt for homemade remedies for pimples and acne to stay away from side-effects.

Exfoliate :-

When it comes to topical skin care, most of us concentrate on cleansing, toning and moisturizing and completely ignore exfoliation. But natural tips for glowing skin by experts emphasize the importance of exfoliating the skin because it is the best solution to the question of how to get rid of dead skin cells. Periodic exfoliation using natural ingredients like Bengal gram flour, oats, orange peel or lentil powder can remove dead cells, dust, impurities and blackheads from the skin and make it smooth and flawless.

It helps in cleaning the clogged pores and hair follicles within turn prevent the breakout of acne. It helps in improving skin texture by reducing dullness of skin and reducing the appearance of large pores. Regular exfoliation makes it easier for the skin to absorb moisturizers and serums that are applied topically.

Lemon Juice :-

Lemon is a best remedy that naturally lightens not only the brown spots on the skin but also the dark neck or dark underarm or even age spots with its bleaching property. Lemons have citric acid that do wonders with the skin by safely removing the dead skin cells and reveal the fresh new layers of the skin beneath and ultimately make it lighter by diminishing the brown spots on the skin and glow beauty. Remember that not to go out in sun after applying this lemon juice on the skin as it might render the skin to darker than before. But be careful before applying this lemon juice on your skin if you’re suffering sensitive skin as it causes some itching, irritation and redness on the skin. Then you can apply this juice by diluting it in water or rose water to prevent the irritation and also the brown spots on the skin.

Ingredients:

  • Lemon
  • Knife

Process:

  1. Take a lemon and cut it into slices
  2. Then take a lemon slice and rub it on the brown spots
  3. Wait for about 10 – 15 minutes before wash it with water
  4. Dry your skin and store the remaining slice in fridge for further use.
  5. Or if you find any difficulty in rubbing the lemon slices on skin then you can simply apply the lemon juice with the help of the cotton ball and let it sit for 20 minutes and then wash it with water.
  6. For effective results, do this process for twice a day to get rid of the brown spots on skin especially on face.

Chickpea or Gramflour :-

Chickpea or gramflour is a wonderful remedy that helps to clear all types of the skin problems. Discussing about the brown spots or aged spots, it has almost all the things that lighten the skin to clear spots. The ingredients that are used in this process are also the most effective ones that lighten the skin by fading and clearing the spots on the skin. Try this recipe.

Ingredients:

  1. Gram flour – 2 teaspoons
  2. Lemon juice – half of a lime
  3. Tomato juice – 1 teaspoon
  4. Turmeric – 2 pinches
  5. Rose water – as needed
  6. Milk or curd – 1 teaspoon
  7. Castor / Almond oil – a few drops

Process:

  1. Take a lemon and squeeze out the lemon juice from half of the lemon slice
  2. Then add a little of rose water in the small bowl and dip the empty lemon slice in it
  3. Now take the gram flour, milk / curd, lime juice, tomato juice and turmeric in a bowl and mix it well to make it like a paste.
  4. Apply this on the region particularly on the place where you have spots.
  5. Wait for about 20 minutes or till it dries naturally.
  6. When once it dries, take 2 – 3 drops of castor or almond oil onto your fingers
  7. Start scrubbing the skin gently with your fingers to take off the paste but don’t apply force on it.
  8. Do this scrubbing process for about 3 – 6 minutes and then take a lemon rind that dipped in rose water
  9. Rub the area with that lemon rind and once the paste that has comes off the skin, then wash it with water.
  10. Follow this process either once or twice daily for about 10 days and then continue doing this 2 – 3 times a week till you get glowing skin that lightened or with no brown spots.

Aloe Vera :-

Aloe vera is always considered as the skin friendly herb as it cures many skin ailments and makes you feel comfortable relief. It has anti-inflammatory and well moisturizing properties that help to keep your skin hydrated, fresh and young too. Coming to age spots or brown spots, it is a best remedy to clear them from the skin with its skin regenerative and healing properties that replaces the old, dead skin cells with new skin.

ngredients:

  • Aloe vera leaf
  • Knife

Process:

  1. Take an aloe vera leaf and cut it to squeeze its gel by using your fingers
  2. Then apply this gel on the brown spots
  3. Leave it like that for at least 30 minutes, you may feel a little sticky when it gets dried but you don’t worry about it.
  4. Wash it water and repeat this process for twice a day for about a month or two to lighten up your skin by fading the brown spots.

Fruit or vegetable juice :-

  • Drink 1 full glass juice daily made from any fruit or vegetable, also add 1 tablespoon of honey in it.
  • Add carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, beetroots, cabbage, and curd in your regular diet.
  • Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily. You can see the changes in your skin within a month.

Massage of milk & honey :-

It is very essential to clean, tone and moisture your skin daily.

Take 1 tablespoon of raw milk and 1 teaspoon of raw honey, mix them well and massage on your face with it in upward & in circular direction for 15 minutes daily, followed with a face pack of sandalwood paste (1 tablespoon) mixed with lemon (1 tablespoon).

Oatmeal & Egg white :-

For oily skin,

  • add 1-2 tablespoon of oatmeal in egg white,
  • add 1 teaspoon of turmeric,
  • 2 teaspoon of lime juice and
  • Apply this paste on the neck and face for 20-30 minutes.

Cocoa, Honey, Oatmeal :-

  • Take 3-4 tablespoon of cocoa, 2-3 teaspoons of milk cream,
  • 3 tablespoon of ripe papaya pulp,
  • 1 tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of oatmeal powder.
  • Mix them all together.
  • Apply on your face. After 20 minutes, wash your face with lukewarm/normal water. This is the best face mask for oily skin.

Besan, Curd, Rose :-

  • Mix 1tablespoon besan (gram flour) with 1 tablespoon of curd or Milk,
  • 1 teaspoon of rose water & half table spoon lime juice, mix them well.
  • Apply on your face for 15-20 minutes or till it dry. Use it twice in a week. It will be very effective in skin fairness.

Tomato pulp with Curd :-

  • Add 2 tablespoon of tomato pulp/juice in 3 teaspoon of curd,
  • also add ½ teaspoon of turmeric and apply on the face for 15-20 minutes.
  • Wash with normal/lukewarm water. Do this 3-4 times a week for smooth & wrinkle free skin.

Alternatively, add 1 teaspoon paste or juice of mint leaves in 2-3 tablespoon of curd, also add 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix all them well and apply over the face for 20-30 minutes. Rinse it off with normal water.

Sugar, Curd, Lemon :-

  • Mix 1 table spoon sugar and curd in equal proportions with 1 tablespoon of lime/orange juice and apply on your face by massaging in circular motions for 10 minutes.
  • Then clean with lukewarm water, it helps to glow your skin.

Potato :-

  • Applying a raw potato is the greatest natural cure for tanned skin.
  • Potato acts as natural bleach.
  • Cut a potato into two slices and massage for 15 minutes onto your skin gently. Do this daily, you will see the difference. 
  • Grate small potato and crush it to make fine paste of it.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon potato paste with 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.
  • Apply this mixture on the skin for 20-30 minutes.
  • Follow this remedy every day or 3-4 times a week for spotless, wrinkle free & glowing healthy skin.   

Turmeric, Raw milk, Lemon :-

Turmeric plays vital role to give you healthy skin & glow.

  • Add 1 tablespoon of raw milk and half tablespoon of lemon juice in 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, make a paste and
  • apply it on your clean face, neck, and arms for 20 minutes. 
  • Your skin will be glowing never seen before. Follow this twice a week for better results.

Honey in bath water :-

  • Mix 4-5 tablespoon of honey & half cup of fresh lemon juice in your bath water for soft and smooth skin. 
  • Don’t wash your hair with this water.
